How To Transition From Winter To Spring With Ali & Jay
Outfit Details: Polkadot Dress // Cashmere Cape (Sold Out) Similar (Here) // Sweater // Jeans // Booties // Crossbody Bag // Watch // Cuff
Hi Loves!
Spring is literally around the corner now, which means I'm super excited for longer days in the sun. All the snow was fun for a hot second, but this Cali girl needs some sunshine in her life. I'm especially excited to bring spring into my wardrobe, with lots of color, flowy dresses, and fun prints and textures!
Now for all of you living in year-round perfect weather (I'm eyeing you LA), you are indeed blessed. You lucky ducks can wear springtime dresses by themselves. But for those of us with 4 seasons, the winter chill is still lingering. With that said, it can be daunting to think about what to wear to exude springtime fashion yet stay cozy. Let me share with you how I transition from winter to spring with Ali & Jay!
What's the secret? It's about layering your warm basics with statement spring pieces. I want to give a shoutout to Ali & Jay for sending me this lovely polkadot spring dress! As always, all opinions are 100% my own! :)
My Lily Pond Sundress is so perfect for spring as polkadots were seen everywhere on runways this past S/S 2018 fashion season. The midi length is always flattering and the flowy skirt is so fun to walk in. Ali & Jay wants you to embrace the boss and feminine side of yourself, and that's exactly how I feel wearing it! The millennial woman knows that you can be both strong and feminine at the same time. Click here to shop all of Ali & Jay's spring dresses and use code AJHEARTBEAT20 for 20% off your purchase! Woot!
I layered the dress with a J.Crew sweater, AG Jeans, and cute Nine West booties to keep warm. If you need the extra warmth, cape coats are my go to as transitional coats. They give you just that touch of warmth you need. This one by J.Crew is sold out online, but I've linked similar options below so you can still get the look! Check out how I styled cape coats here, here, and here! The Mia Shoulder Bag is from Danse Lente, my new favorite bag designer! I literally squealed with delight when I got it. I love the impeccable design, minimal yet structured silhouette, and the unique metal hardware. It's so beautiful I can't even. Keep an eye out for Danse Lente. They're going places.
Now bust out your spring looks! Let me know your tips to transitioning into spring below! Happy weekend loves!
XOXO
