October Beauty Favorites

I combined beauty and skincare favorites from September and October so that I can have enough goodies to share with you. My favorite new brands that I got to try were Charlotte Tilbury and Shu Uemura. I’ve known about these beauty brands for a long time, and now that I finally got to try them, I fully understand the hype. SEPTEMBER BEAUTY FAVORITES:
1. BOBBI BROWN - Luxe Matte Lipstick $37 - A highly pigmented matte lipstick with a powdery soft and light formula that isn’t drying at all!
2. SHU UEMURA - Ultime 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil $51.29 - This is one of my favorite cleansing oils. It contains 8 botanical oils that nourishes your skin and feels luxurious. It melts my makeup off really well and emulsifies away cleanly when you rinse with water.
3. MAMONDE - Hydrating Beauty Water $23 - A wonderfully hydrating toner that’s made from 100% organic damask rose! I use it after cleansing, and right before applying serums. I love the rose scent!
4. MAMONDE - Petal Purifying Bubble Mask $25 - One of my favorite Mamonde products, this mask is super fun. It starts foaming on your face on contact. It only takes 1 minute and leaves you with brighter and moisturized skin!
5. MAMONDE - Plum Blossom Lip Sleeping Mask $14 - It’s a lip balm during the day and a lip sleeping mask at night. It’s super hydrating on my chapped lips, and I adore the scent!
6. MAMONDE - Petal Spa Oil to Foam Cleansing Oil $21 - I love the rich formula of this oil cleanser. It breaks down waterproof makeup really well. Add some water and the oil turns into a foam cleanser which easily washes off!
7. CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Luxury Eyeshadow Palette In The Dolce Vita $53 - This palette is the perfect fall palette! The shades are super pigmented and each color is so gorgeous! It works for both day and night looks.
8. CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Charlotte’s Magic Cream $100 - This is serious magic in a pot. I love the anti-aging properties, and how it helps with firming, lifting, and rehydrating tired skin.
9. CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Cheek To Chic Blush In Love Is The Drug $40 - I love this blush duo. It’s super pigmented, and you can use the colors separately or together. I like to use the light pink over my cheekbones, and the dark pink on the apples of my cheeks.
10. CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Full Fat Lashes Mascara $29 - This mascara is one of my all time favorites! The formula isn’t drying or clumping, and the brush is great at separating lashes and building volume and length!
11. CHARLOTTE TILBURY - Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo $68 - This is a fan favorite for a reason! I love the bronzer for sculpting my face, and the highlighter has such an elegant sheen. And the gold case is so glamorous!
12. CONTEXT SKIN - Vitamin C All Day Eye Cream $35 - An amazing eye cream that’s has a lightweight gel-like formula, yet is ultra hydrating.
13. CONTEXT SKIN - Intensive Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 $40 - This moisturizer contains shea butter and has a lightweight, non-greasy formula perfect for the warmer months.
BEAUTY REVIEWS
BOBBI BROWN
1. LUXE MATTE LIPSTICK
Bobbi Brown came out with their new Luxe Matte Lip Color Collection and it is BOMB dot com! They really did a great job on the formula. It feels light and powdery, yet is highly pigmented and doesn’t dry out your lips like a lot of matte lipsticks tend to do. I have so many favorite colors, but if I had to choose just one, it would be Cheeky Peach! Here are my favorite shades:

SHU UEMURA
2. ULTIME 8 SUBLIME BEAUTY CLEANSING OIL
I had been eyeing Shu Uemura cleansing oils for years because my favorite beauty vloggers would always talk about how awesome they are. Shu Uemura came out with the first classic cleansing oil back in 1967, and are the OGs of cleansing oils!
I used the Ultime8 Cleansing Oil for my dry skin and it hands down lives up to the hype! Just pump a few drops into your hands, massage it into your face and see how even your most stubborn waterproof makeup comes off! Once you’ve loosened all your makeup, just wash your face with water and the oil emulsifies away! Pretty neat-o!
And for those of you with oily skin, don’t worry that oil-based products will make your skin oilier. In fact it’s the opposite! Using oil based products helps to balance the oil in your skin and stop over-producing oil.
You can choose from their many cleansing oils based on your skin type: dry, combination + oily, normal + aging, sensitive skin, and more!
MAMONDE
1. HYDRATING BEAUTY WATER
I absolutely adore the rose scent! It’s infused with extracts from 100% Organic Damask Rose! I use this as a toner right after cleansing. It hydrates, and balances my skin in preparation for the rest of my skincare routine!
2. PETAL PURIFYING BUBBLE MASK
This face mask goes on your face and immediately starts to thicken and foam! It’s super fun to watch. It contains dried rose petals and it smells heavenly. After just 1 minute you wash the mask off and you’re left with brighter and moisturized skin!
3. PLUM BLOSSOM LIP SLEEPING MASK
This smells absolutely divine! I use it as a lip balm during the day or as a lip sleeping mask at night. I put a thick layer on and exfoliate as a way to prep my lips before putting on lipstick as well!
4. PETAL SPA OIL TO FOAM CLEANSING OIL
I love the rose smell and rich formula. If I have a lot of makeup on I use two pumps with a tiny bit of water and massage it into my face. My eye makeup starts to melt away like magic, even with waterproof mascara! Then you can wash your face with water and see the oil turn to a foam cleanser and washes away squeaky clean!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY
1. LUXURY EYESHADOW PALETTE IN THE DOLCE VITA
This palette is super perfect for fall. The colors are ultra pigmented and last all day long. Love that there’s a sparkly eyeshadow in the set as well. This palette easily takes you from day to evening looks.
2. CHARLOTTE’S MAGIC CREAM
This anti-aging cream is a great way to pamper your skin. Take a good amount and massage it into your face for a 5 minute facial. I love waking up in the morning to more hydrated and firm skin with the Magic Cream. It’s totally worth the splurge!
3. CHEEK TO CHIC BLUSH IN LOVE IS THE DRUG

CONTEXT SKIN
I love that Context Skin is made from natural ingredients like herbal extracts and botanical oils. It’s not only important to eat healthy, but to use healthy ingredients on your skin!
1. VITAMIN C ALL DAY EYE CREAM
I love the clear, gel-like formula of this eye cream, and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. I like to apply it morning and evening.
2. INTENSIVE DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF 15
This is a perfect summer moisturizer, especially for those with oily or combination skin. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, yet very moisturizing!
